Marjolaine Vuarnesson,Director of the Baxton Studio and the Baxton Gallery, welcomes you for a one-hour individual appointment to discuss your work, your approach, and your project.

Marjolaine Vuarnesson is a French photographer and visual artist. Initially expressing herself through painting and sculpture, she turned to photography in 2012 and explores mediums such as Polaroid and alternative techniques.
In 2019, she participated in the Milk Masterclass (a year-long training developing narrative series and photographic identity) led by Ljubisa Danilovic and Sabrina Biancuzzi and sponsored by Julien Magre. The work produced during this training resulted in her series "Apparitions" published in 2022 by Bessard Editions.
In 2023, she took over the direction of the Baxton Studio in Brussels, specialising in wet collodion photography and old processes, as well as the Baxton Gallery which offers 6 exhibitions per year. (among the exhibited artists: Bernard Plossu, Dolorès Marat, Julien Magre, Gael Bonnefon).
During your appointment, please prioritise small proofing prints or 10x15. Depending on your approach and project, Marjolaine will provide you with tailored advice and work suggestions as well as references, based on what you wish to express through your images.
