Exhibition : ANALOG INTROSPECTIONS

Analogue photography is often associated with mastery of gesture, technical precision, and the pursuit of the perfect image. However, it is also a territory of uncertainties, where chance, matter, and time fully participate in creation.

Analog Introspections brings together three perspectives that explore this sensitive dimension of analogue photography. Three different approaches, one common desire: to accept the unpredictable.

Julien Strandt explores the poetry of the everyday through instinctive photography, where light, urban atmospheres, and textures invite silent contemplation.

Alain Guillemaud presents a series of Polaroids whose chemical alterations become an integral part of the image. The unpredictable reactions of the emulsion, the lack of chemistry, and the accidents of the process give birth to unique works, where matter dialogues with the subject.

Camille Saule subverts the codes of 'successful' photography. Blurriness, veils, overexposures, or intentional flaws become tools of expression. By embracing error, she questions our relationship with memory, emotion, and technical perfection.

Through these three universes, Analog Introspections celebrates a vibrant, imperfect, and profoundly human photography, where each accident reveals an element of the unexpected. An invitation to look differently, to slow down, and to rediscover the fragile beauty of analogue.
