The NEXUS exhibition explores the theme of the link between humanity and its environments.
The 13 artists of the ACTION HYBRIDE collective cross their practices and their universes - interconnections between
photographic, pictorial (drawing, painting, engraving), plastic (installations, sculpture) and performative mediums.
The backbone of this exhibition is the 8th point of our Manifesto:
« Action Hybride considers the body and the human condition in connection with its environments, interior and exterior.
Of the living in all its forms, a supportive network of multiple relationships and varied territories, for a political, artistic ecology and a common social future. «
Thus, the links to consumer society, to techniques, to nature or to ecosystems are addressed, but also
more intimate relationships such as our relationships with illness, death, transgenerational transmission; those of
being to appearance, from the visible to the invisible, from the outside to the inside, from bodies to imprints and temporalities.
At the heart of the exhibition, the links between the members of Action Hybride themselves question the relationship between the individual
and the collective.
